Contract: Fixed-term 2-3 years, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal.
Key responsibilities
- Handle staffing and human resources matters, including recruitment, appointments, personnel reviews, and leave administration.
- Manage the financial operations, including purchase requisitions, procurement, payroll, staff claims, and resource management.
- Coordinate various reports and provide secretarial support to committees.
- Coordinate academic and delegation visits for the Department when required.
- Supervise clerical staff to ensure delivery of quality service.
- Perform ad-hoc or non-routine tasks as assigned.
- Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 4 years' work experience, preferably in staffing/finance administration.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese).
- High levels of communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good level of IT knowledge and ability to work independently.
- Good team player and fast learner with ability to handle multi-tasks under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and leadership ability.
