Applicants should possess a recognized degree, preferably in Sports Science, Exercise Science or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in exercise prescription and testing. They should have an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. They should also demonstrate good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; proficiency in IT; the ability to interact positively and professionally with users; and the capability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Possession of valid certifications and qualifications in fitness training (e.g NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach (Level 2), ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist) will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing health and fitness services for programs and projects conducted at the Active Health Clinic
- Delivering evidence-based, quality training advice
- Developing tailored fitness programs for diverse populations
- Conducting health and fitness assessments in both on-site and clinical settings
- Assisting in fitness and wellness projects
- Preparing presentations, reports and educational materials
- Undertaking other duties as assigned
- Working on shift duties will be required
