Campus Exercise Coordinator (at the rank of Technical Officer) in the Centre for Sports and Exercise (Ref.: 536585) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a recognized degree, preferably in Sports Management, Sports Science, Exercise Science or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in event or project coordination or coaching. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably with proficiency in Putonghua); good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; IT proficiency; and the ability to deal and interact with users positively and professionally. They should also be dynamic, proactive and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Possession of a valid certificate and qualification in fitness training (e.g. NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach) will be considered an advantage.

The appointee will be responsible for developing, leading and promoting our Exercise is Medicine initiative to enhance the health and active lifestyles of staff and students. He/She will design and implement on-campus fitness and health programmes; assist in fitness and wellness projects; conduct fitness training sessions; and undertake other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
