We now invite applications for the captioned post which focus on Dermatology, in the School of Clinical Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting clinical trials and maintaining effective communication with study participants
  • Assist in data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports and manuscripts
  • Providing logistical support for the arrangement of public engagement activities
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in science and health-related disciplines
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese)
  • Good organizational and project coordination skills with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Experience and competency in venipuncture (blood taking) and clinical research is preferred

Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/ II.

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
