Are you a skilled CAD specialist with a passion for fine jewellery and meaningful design? At Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, we believe in celebrating individuality through our top-quality design experience, where our customers’ stories are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s most award-winning bespoke jeweller, we lead the way with our creativity, ethical practices, and innovative approach.
We’re looking for a talented CAD Specialist to join our team in North Hertfordshire, just outside of Hitchin, on an initial 9‑month, maternity cover period. This is a part‑time opportunity, with 3 days a week, based on site. If you have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a fine jewellery CAD specialist and are proficient using Matrix Gold, then this could be the role for you.
When you join the team, you’ll play a vital role in transforming our designers’ briefs and sketches – for bespoke commissions and ready‑to‑wear collection pieces – into precise, production‑ready CADs. You’ll collaborate closely with both designers and the workshop team to ensure technical feasibility as well as supporting the CAD Manager with admin, prechecks, and occasional 3D scanning.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
- Comfortable creating complex, multi‑part CAD designs with precision
- Organised, deadline‑driven, and able to manage digital workflows
- Familiar with manufacturing tolerances and workshop processes
- Passionate about great design, problem‑solving, and collaboration
This is an in‑person role based at our Hertfordshire studio. Due to its rural location, unfortunately, there is no access via public transport. Ample parking is available onsite.
