The Opportunity
HKA are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual group accounts. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will contribute to financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and group accounting activities while helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This position offers exposure to a wide range of financial accounting responsibilities within a global organisation and provides an excellent platform for professional development.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the month-end reporting process, including the preparation of financial reports and KPI reporting.
- Completing monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconciling group intercompany balances and ensuring any outstanding reconciling items are investigated and resolved.
- Monitoring and supporting group timesheet compliance processes.
- Performing foreign exchange calculations and posting associated journals.
- Supporting the management of the month-end reporting timetable to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
