HKA is seeking an experienced Global People Analytics and Systems Leader to drive the evolution of our people systems, analytics capability and reporting landscape. This is a key role within our Global People team, responsible for maximising the value of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, leading HR systems enhancements and transformation initiatives, and delivering high-impact workforce insights that support strategic decision-making.

We are looking for a commercially minded leader with extensive expertise in Workday HCM, HRIS transformation, reporting, analytics and process automation. You will have a proven track record of developing HR systems roadmaps, delivering complex enhancements, managing integrations and building scalable reporting solutions that improve business performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions while ensuring data integrity, governance and compliance. You will be an advanced Excel user with expertise in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, dashboard development, reporting automation and large-scale data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Workday HCM administration, configuration and optimisation, including HRIS project delivery, system enhancement management, release testing and deployment, calculated fields, custom reporting and KPI development.
  • Develop and manage the HR systems roadmap, partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain robust data governance, GDPR compliance and system security, including data validation, auditing, cleansing and large-scale data management activities.
  • Deliver people analytics, workforce reporting, dashboard development and executive-level insights, with a strong focus on automation, workforce planning and management information (MI) reporting using advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Lead, coach and develop the People Analytics and Systems team, driving high performance and continuous professional growth.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and senior stakeholder relationships, gathering business requirements, designing effective solutions and supporting change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, service level agreements (SLAs) and third-party system integrations to ensure effective service delivery and business value.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with a genuine passion for systems, automation, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years of hands-on functional and configuration experience within Workday.
  • Strong knowledge across multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Absence/Time Off, Compensation, Learning, Talent Management and Reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and project management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced expertise in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas, Power Query, Macros/VBA, dashboard development, reporting automation and large-scale data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
