The Opportunity
Are you a fluent Ukrainian speaker with a background in accounting or economics, and experience in either forensics, dispute support, valuation, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or audit? If you're ready to build on the areas you've enjoyed so far, develop new skills, and take your career in a fresh direction that plays to your strengths - we'd love to hear from you.
At HKA, you'll use your ability to interpret financial statements, value businesses, and analyse economic impacts - all while tackling intellectually rewarding challenges. Ukrainian language skills are essential for this role, as many of our cases involve Ukrainian documentation or stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- Conducting financial, accounting, and economic analysis.
- Performing business valuations using industry‐standard tools and data sources.
- Drafting sections of expert reports.
- Presenting findings to partners and clients.
- Engaging directly with clients.
- Supporting business development and attending networking events.
- Helping train and develop colleagues.
What we are looking for:
- Language skills: Fluent in Ukrainian and English (spoken and written) - this is essential.
- Academic background: Graduate or post‐graduate in accounting, finance, economics, or business/management.
- Professional experience: Qualified Accountant or post‐graduate economist with at least 1 year in a recognised consulting environment (e.g., Forensic Services, Valuations, Transaction Services, or Audit).
- Mindset: A genuine interest in forensic accounting, dispute support, and valuation.
- Experience: Ideally, some exposure to contentious valuations or forensic accounting.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Team spirit: A collaborative and respected team player.
