We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Solicitor (+5 years PQE) to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of employment law matters, including:

  • Advising on employment law compliance
  • Drafting legal documents
  • Representing clients in tribunals
  • Negotiating settlements

Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with other legal professionals, staying updated on changes in employment law, and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering high-quality, solution-focused advice. Suitable candidates will have a strong background and genuine interest in Employment Law, along with well-honed skills within contract drafting, resolving employer/employee disputes, and general employment-related advisory work, as well as a working knowledge of the Employment Tribunal system. Candidates with experience of supervising and mentoring less experienced lawyers and support staff will be highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Employment Law with a proven track record in handling matters independently
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a diverse caseload
  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Strong commitment to client service and professional ethics
  • Experience in business development and networking within the legal field is advantageous
