Title: Commercial Team Manager Summary of Role Lead and manage a specialist team responsible for commercial contract renewals, remedial quoting process and sales administration.

This role ensures timely, accurate contract renewals while overseeing the development and submission of remedial work quotations to maintain client relationships and drive revenue growth.

What you will be doing Supervise and develop a team of contract administrators and estimators handling renewal cycles, remedial quotations and sales administration.

Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and client service excellence.

Manage workload allocation to ensure deadlines are consistently met across multiple contracts and projects.

Oversee the end-to-end renewal process for commercial service contracts, ensuring timely identification of upcoming expirations and proactive client engagement.

Review contract terms, pricing adjustments, and scope changes.

Coordinate with finance and operations teams to finalise renewal documentation.

Maintain renewal tracking systems and report on pipeline status and conversion rates.

Direct the preparation and submission of quotations for remedial, repair, and additional scope work identified during service visits.

Establish standardised quoting processes, pricing methodologies, and approval workflows.

Ensure quotations are technically accurate, commercially competitive, and aligned with contract terms and client expectations.

Oversee the processing of sales orders, preparing quotes and proposals, maintaining CRM systems and sales databases, managing sales documentation and contracts, and coordinating sales meetings and presentations.

Tracking sales metrics and pipeline data, generating sales reports and forecasts.

Maintain accurate customer records, updating sales tracking systems, analysing sales data for trends, managing contact lists and mailing databases, and ensuring data integrity across platforms.

Monitor pricing strategies to maintain profitability while remaining competitive.

Track quote-to-conversion metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with management on budget forecasting related to renewal revenue and remedial work projections.

Implement controls to minimise pricing errors and contractual disputes.

Serve as escalation point for complex renewal negotiations and remedial scope discussions.

Build strong relationships with key clients to understand their evolving needs and address concerns promptly.

Ensure high service standards that support contract retention and expansion opportunities.

Develop and refine standard operating procedures for renewals and quoting workflows.
