The successful candidate will work on a broad range of regulatory and disciplinary matters, advising clients throughout the investigation and hearing process.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing fitness to practice and disciplinary cases from investigation through to resolution.
- Reviewing complaints, evidence and investigation materials.
- Drafting witness statements, submissions and case papers.
- Liaising with clients, witnesses, experts and counsel.
- Preparing matters for tribunal and disciplinary hearings.
- Advising on regulatory strategy, risk and outcomes.
- Working closely with senior lawyers and clients on complex and sensitive matters.
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with:
- 1+ years PQE.
- Experience in professional discipline, healthcare regulation, fitness to practice, regulatory investigations or related litigation.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Experience working with regulators, healthcare professionals or regulated individuals would be advantageous.
