The successful candidate will work on a broad range of regulatory and disciplinary matters, advising clients throughout the investigation and hearing process.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing fitness to practice and disciplinary cases from investigation through to resolution.
  • Reviewing complaints, evidence and investigation materials.
  • Drafting witness statements, submissions and case papers.
  • Liaising with clients, witnesses, experts and counsel.
  • Preparing matters for tribunal and disciplinary hearings.
  • Advising on regulatory strategy, risk and outcomes.
  • Working closely with senior lawyers and clients on complex and sensitive matters.

Applications are welcomed from solicitors with:

  • 1+ years PQE.
  • Experience in professional discipline, healthcare regulation, fitness to practice, regulatory investigations or related litigation.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with regulators, healthcare professionals or regulated individuals would be advantageous.
  • A genuine interest in regulatory and professional discipline work.
