New Vacancy â Senior Claims Adjuster | Casualty Reinsurance (6M Contract)
Lloyd's Syndicate â London / Hybrid â Fixed term (circa six months). This role will be handling Casualty Reinsurance Claims including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Financial Lines and more from a variety of global territories. My client is looking for someone who can start ASAP, so this will suit a semi-retired Claims expert or someone who can start very quickly.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of claims arising, with a particular focus on Reinsurance Casualty.
- Manage and report on key watchlist claims, including attendance at market meetings and liaison with market participants and legal counsel where required.
- Ensure accurate and effective claims handling, including adherence to reserving philosophy and robust diary management to proactively monitor and drive claims performance.
- Identify, monitor, and report key complex losses to senior management and the actuarial function, including identifying additional losses requiring watchlist monitoring.
- Support the management of all claims as required.
- Drive, facilitate, and deliver a customerâfocused approach to claims management, measured through speed of service and open, honest, and professional communication with brokers and (re)insureds.
- Provide highâquality commentary on weekly movements and contribute to monthly and quarterly management reports, significant new notifications, emerging trends, and material developments.
- Represent the organisation at broker and client meetings, promoting bestâinâclass claims handling standards and philosophy.
- Conduct required claims audits and oversee outcomes, ensuring actions are appropriately followed up, completed, and documented.
