We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Urgent Care GP to join our busy, well-supported Urgent Care Centre at HJE. Our UCC is a walk-in minor injuries unit open 7 days a week (8am to 8pm weekdays and 8am to 6pm weekends) and closed at night. You’ll work alongside a minimum of two doctors and one nurse at all times, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality care for every patient who walks through our doors. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP with strong urgent care, minor illness, or A&E experience who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Located in leafy St John’s Wood on the Jubilee line, minutes from Central London, our independent private Hospital has just been rated the number one in the country for care in the latest Bupa survey. Uniquely, all profits fund our onsite Hospice, St John’s.

Responsibilities of this UCC Doctor role:

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care in line with UCC and hospital policies
  • Acting as a role model and expert practitioner, supporting junior staff and colleagues
  • Leading paediatric resuscitation during emergencies
  • Ensuring accurate, timely documentation using electronic medical records
  • Participating in audits, service improvement, and quality assurance
  • Maintaining up-to-date ALS and EPALS certifications
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning, safety, and patient-centred care
