Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide planned maintenance, reactive response & repair, installation, and commissioning services to a variety of public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be Northern Ireland based.
What you'll do
- Perform all work in a safe manner, following statutory guidelines and company policies, risk assessments and method statements.
- Perform planned maintenance, reactive response and installation works on plumbing systems.
- Accurately diagnose plumbing faults and successfully undertake remedial works.
- Perform and manage their assigned workload in an efficient timely manner.
- Perform works to a high standard.
- Make and keep accurate records utilising both the company’s mobile management platform and our clients' systems.
- Be professional, proactive and client focused as you deliver your work.
- Provide call out cover on a rota basis.
- Any other reasonable duties required depending on the needs of the business.
What you'll bring
As a Plumber, your main skills and experience will include:
- Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- Experience of working on a broad range of plumbing systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and repair skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
- A solid understanding of administration procedures.
- Excellent attitude and approach to work.
- An ability to be open, honest and be able to work as part of a team.
- Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Full driving license.
- Desirable Criteria
- Gas courses: COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A and ICPN1.
- OFTEC qualified.
