Location: Travel required throughout UK and Ireland

Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the Fit-Out Projects in the UK and Ireland to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the Projects and lead the teams within H&J Martin values and guidelines, while adding value and development to the Fit-Out business.
What you'll do
- Manage the delivery of Fit-Out projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, consultants and supply chain partners to achieve project objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure project requirements, objectives and expectations are clearly communicated and understood across all project teams.
- Monitor project performance, identifying and managing risks, opportunities and potential issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and delegated authorities, as well as all statutory and legal requirements.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance on all projects.
- Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports, forecasts and updates to senior management and clients.
- Review and approve project documentation, including project management plans, health and safety plans and environmental management plans.
- Support, coach and motivate project teams to maximise performance and encourage professional development.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, best practice and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular site visits across the UK and Ireland to monitor progress, support project teams and ensure successful project delivery.
- Act as an ambassador for the business, promoting company values always maintaining professionalism.
What you'll bring
As a Project Manager your main skills and experience will include:
Essential Criteria
- Experience as a manager within a Fit-Out environment
- Proven Track record of leading fast paced Fit-Out Projects
- Proven experience of budgeting and forecasting and the ability to develop and maintain effective metrics to monitor performance.
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating project teams in demanding environments
- Proficient in programming software
- Extensive experience in Retail & Commercial Fit-Out projects
- A good understanding of elements necessary to deliver effective supply chain management and support across the organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to manage a team and for relationships with Clients
- The ability to motivate, lead and engage diverse teams with due consideration to employee development, succession and performance management.
- Flexibility is essential as this role will involve work and travel throughout the UK.
- Good management skills, with the ability to motivate employees to achieve high standards of compliance
- A strong communicator, comfortable interfacing with senior executives and external clients
- IT literacy
Desirable Criteria
- A degree in Construction, Engineering or related subject
- Previous experience as a Contracts manager within the Fit-Out Sector
