Role Overview As a Heating Engineer, you will complete emergency reactive calls that are logged to a high standard, which assists the company to achieve a high first-time fix percentage, you will also complete site surveys and act as a company representative to ensure company beliefs and standards are always adhered to. What you\’ll do The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive: Carry out planned maintenance to combustion appliances and pipework in line with contract specification, industry guidelines and association with the company H&S policies. Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork and certification. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to heating systems as required. Ensure timely submission of all reports, timesheets and certification. Be part of a standby rota as requested to ensure that the company can always provide adequate emergency cover to clients Assist other team members when required. Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales. All duties carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way Working safely in line with health and safety procedures Basic electrical experience required wiring pumps, water heaters What youll bring As a Heating Engineer your main skills and experience will include: Essential Criteria A suitably qualified mechanical discipline Relevant OFTEC/Gas qualifications Commercial ACS qualifications Experience of working on a broad range of boilers, burners and Pumps Sound knowledge of domestic/commercial appliances.
