Role Overview

Due to the continued success and growth of our Asset Management division we currently have an opportunity for a Floor Fitter to join the Project Team. The candidate will work as part of a Flooring team, fitting commercial flooring across our wide range of Framework Contracts, providing excellent service to our clients.

What you'll do

  • Uplifting existing flooring and preparation of surface to accept new flooring.
  • Latex floor screed / underlay application
  • Sheet vinyl and tile fitting
  • Carpet tile and carpet fitting
  • Removal and refitting of fixtures and furniture as necessary to complete the task.
  • Loading and unloading of materials.
  • Working within live buildings in coordination with customers/ clients business needs.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Clean and clear works area following completion.
  • Ensure that each job is completed snag free and to clients satisfaction.
  • Take before and after photos of each job and process onto task management systems.
  • Maintain and update the company Mobile Management Information Systems.
  • Representing the company in a competent and professional manner
  • Compliance with the Clients Building Estates Rules and Regulations.
  • Other duties may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business

What you'll bring

As a Floor Fitter your main skills and experience will include:

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of commercial floor fitting, including vinyl and carpet
  • Experience of working as part of a flooring team within operational buildings.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of safe and effective working
  • Possess a full valid driving license

Desirable Criteria

  • Experienced in ceramic wall and floor tiling.
  • Experience working within a hospital maintenance environment
  • Working Knowledge of Mobile Management Information Systems.
