Location: Predominantly based at our Aston Mill, near Nantwich, but you must be willing to travel to other HJ Lea sites in the North West area.
HJ Lea Oakes Ltd are suppliers of top-quality animal and livestock feeds, serving farmers across a wide area in Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Shropshire and North Wales. Due to expansion, a vacancy has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrical Engineer.
Job Description and Profile: If successful, you will be working as part of the maintenance team. You will be predominantly based at our Aston Mill site near Nantwich but you must be willing to travel to other HJ Lea sites in the North West area. A valid driving license is essential. Once trained you will be required to work an alternating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shift. You must have a flexible approach to work and be willing to partake in the out of hours/weekends call-out rota.
Terms:
- Full time, permanent position – subject to a successful trial period
- Basic 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday, alternating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 8am-4pm) + overtime available
- Call-out rota including weekend cover
- Competitive salary with additional benefits
Requirements, Skills and Specifications:
- Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
- 17/18th Edition of Regulations qualification
- Experience gained in an industrial environment to include:
- Automation
- Industrial electrical installation
- Industrial PLC’s
- Good communication skills, good command of spoken and written English
- Good numeracy and literacy
- Valid driving licence
