This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys operating at the heart of a business, supporting senior leaders and bringing structure, pace and organisation to a fast-moving executive environment.

As the business moves to a more formal Board and investor reporting rhythm, the Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Executive Chairman and wider leadership team are well supported, prepared and coordinated.

    • Ensure information is accurate and issued on time

    • Support suppliers, facilities, events and senior onboarding

About you

We are looking for an experienced EA or PA who has supported C-suite or senior leadership and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment. You'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience supporting an MD, CEO, CFO, Chairman or Executive Team
  • Experience owning a senior management or Board meeting cycle
  • Advanced PowerPoint and strong Excel skills
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT
  • Excellent written English and minute-taking skills
  • Confidence chasing senior stakeholders and holding people to deadlines
  • Excellent organisation, discretion and attention to detail

Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, recycling or another operational environment would be highly advantageous, as would Private Equity or formal Board reporting experience.

The environment

You'll need to be comfortable working in both the boardroom and an operational environment, dealing confidently with senior executives, investors and external stakeholders. We're looking for someone proactive, commercially curious and calm under pressure, who can anticipate what the leadership team needs rather than waiting to be asked.

What's on offer?

£32,000–£36,000 pro rata, 30 hours per week, Darley Dale, Derbyshire. Occasional travel to Welwyn Garden City.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EA to take on a high-impact role within HJ Enthoven Group, a £190m business undergoing significant transformation and investment, with genuine visibility across the organisation.
