HJ Collection are looking for a Financial Controller who will assist the CFO in managing the financial operations of several companies in our Head Office at Braintree.
The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant, with strong experience in a property development/construction company with the ability to work independently and cover many tasks simultaneously.
This is a full-time office based opportunity.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance of the Finance systems, covering all daily processes and controls.
- Liaise with customer & suppliers as necessary
- Detailed cashflow management/planning and bank accounts maintenance
- Cis returns and reviewing of sales invoices to ensure correct CIS analysis
- Invoice discounting reporting and reconciliation
- Inter- company transaction review and analysis
- Prepare & submit monthly/quarterly tax returns
- Accounts to TB stage.
- Prepare monthly budget/costing analysis for each project with the development team
