We're looking for a SHE-focused Assurance Lead with strong audit / assurance experience from energy, utilities, engineering, construction or asset management environments. You'll sit in the 2nd line of defence, delivering assurance reviews, improving control frameworks, and raising standards across a complex, high‐hazard operation.
What you'll do:
- Lead 10–15 assurance reviews annually
- Deliver SHE & Cyber technical assurance
- Drive improvements across safety, operations and asset management
- Oversee ISO standards (9001, 55001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
- Analyse trends and provide impactful recommendations
- Influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
What we're looking for:
- Strong SHE background (process safety, occupational safety, environment, H&W, etc.)
- Audit/assurance experience in asset-intensive industries
- Solid grasp of the Three Lines of Defence model
- ISO management system expertise
- Analytical, detail-driven, confident communicator
