This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to lead the delivery of UK power transmission & distribution design projects, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving projects from concept through to completion.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing engineering design projects across the full lifecycle (FEED through to construction support and close-out), ensuring delivery to programme, cost, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Acting as Project Manager on design-only projects or Design Manager on Design & Build / EPC schemes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining effective design integration.
  • Leading client and stakeholder engagement, project reporting, governance, and contract support, including proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Driving a strong Safety by Design culture, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, industry best practice, and integrated management systems.
