We are partnering with a global events organization to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner supporting leaders across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact, strategic role within a dynamic, internationally distributed People team, offering the opportunity to influence business outcomes through people strategy while remaining close to day-to-day operations.

The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across EMEA, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced, globally connected environment. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategy across multiple countries, operating in a lean, hands-on HR environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner closely with senior leaders across EMEA to align people strategy with business goals
- Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor on performance, engagement, and retention strategies
- Workforce Planning & Growth
- Support long-term workforce planning and organizational effectiveness across the region
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and enable scalable growth
- Partner with leadership on evolving team structures and capability needs
- Change Management
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives across EMEA
- Guide leaders through periods of transformation with a focus on communication, engagement, and culture
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Gather and interpret employee feedback to inform continuous improvement
- Talent & Performance
- Partner with leaders on talent development, succession planning, and capability building
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
- Employee Relations
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across multiple EMEA countries
- Lead investigations and support resolution of complex workplace issues
- Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices across jurisdictions
- Compensation & Reward
- Advise on job leveling, compensation decisions, and market alignment
- Support salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs
- People Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies across EMEA
- Partner with People Operations on HR systems, payroll, and process improvements
- Support ongoing development of people processes and systems
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior or executive leaders
- Strong knowledge of employee relations across Europe / EMEA
- Experience working in international, matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Experience supporting growth, transformation, or organizational change
