At Hiverge, our mission is to build algorithmic superintelligence: an AI discovery engine that automatically writes algorithms for the most critical optimisation problems.

About this role

Role

We are seeking a skilled cloud engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Your work will directly impact performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of our AI workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

  • Deploy and operate AI agents at scale, ensuring high availability and robust performance.

  • Develop, extend, and maintain Kubernetes Operators for automation and workload orchestration.

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to enhance system visibility.

  • Take ownership of meeting defined SLOs, including participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

  • Expert in Golang and familiar with Python

  • Hands-on experience with developing Kubernetes Operators

What sets you apart

  • You have proven production experience with Kubernetes.

  • Experience with cost optimization and resource management for large-scale AI workloads.

  • Open-source contributions or active community involvement is highly valued.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, or similar).

  • Familiarity with AI agents or LLM-based systems, especially like LLM inference systems.

  • Experience in integrating solutions on Google Cloud Marketplace or AWS Marketplace is a plus.
