Role Overview 📝 As Senior Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the on the road performance of our delivery fleet. You will lead the fleet team in ensuring that our fleet is safe, compliant and cost efficient. You will own vehicle on-boarding and allocation, repairs & maintenance and admin functions. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our ops run teams to enable our fast growth and increasing fleet size. You are a strong people leader with experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
What you’ll be doing 🚀
- Own Repair & Maintenance: Oversee our internal workshop operations and manage external garage partnerships. Ensure that the workshop and mechanics are operating to a high standard and that inventory is carefully managed to ensure uptime.
- Oversee Fleet Operations: Ensure that vehicles are being assigned to drivers through the handover process and that damages are being reported and recouped. Take action to arrange repairs where necessary and keep detailed records of inspection outcomes.
- Manage a Decentralised Team: Provide strong and hands on management of the fleet team across multiple London depots. You’ll ensure high standards of performance and safety are maintained consistently, even when you aren't on-site.
- Manage the Admin Function: Oversee the fleet admin function, including insurance claim processing and processing of PCNs in a timely manner. You will have experience in insurance claims processes.
- Drive Fleet Compliance & Safety: You will be responsible for maintaining a fully compliant fleet, adhering to all regulatory requirements and O-Licence undertakings. You will coordinate vehicle servicing, MOTs, inspections, repairs and defect management to ensure roadworthiness.
- Optimise Total Cost of Ownership: You will monitor fleet costs, including using insights from telematics and advise leadership on potential improvements to how the team operates.
What we’re looking for 🔎
- 6+ years of Fleet Management, preferably managing large van fleets
- Experienced in managing teams across multiple sites
- EV Fleet Experience Preferred
- Comfortable working in fast-changing, high-growth environments
- Strong people leader: clear, fair, and direct

- Experience owning budgets
