Role Overview đ
The Driver Operations Coâordinator is the unique point of contact with drivers. This role is integral to ensuring HIVED maintains drivers at the centre of our operation whilst maintaining high delivery performance & quality. It is an onâsite role embedded in the dayâtoâday operations.
Shift pattern: 3:00 pmâ12:00 am on a 4 days on â 3 days off schedule, Wednesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for achieving daily business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the dayâtoâday operations of an assigned driver team.
- Accountable for comprehensive driver support, including scheduling, process implementation, and addressing onâtheâroad queries.
- Champion initiatives that foster a positive driver experience and promote retention.
- Oversight of all aspects of the assigned driver team, serving as the primary point of contact for driver inquiries and support at HIVED.
- Ensure driver compliance with HIVED\âs requirements and expectations.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure driver excellence via checkâins and rideâalongs.
Requirements
- 2â3 years of related working experience with logistics/lastâmile preference.
- Handsâon approach to managing and developing team members.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, highâpressure environment.
- Rapid decisionâmaking and efficient problem resolution skills.
- Ability to leverage available resources effectively.
- Experience leveraging data for effective decisionâmaking.
- Exceptional resilience and professionalism in difficult situations, maintaining a positive and productive attitude.
- Valid UK driving licence required.
