About HIVED

At HIVED, we’re steamrolling forward as one of Europe’s fastest growing startups, and our momentum shows no signs of slowing. Based in London, we are a climate and logistics start-up building the first sustainable parcel delivery network at scale, powered by a 100% electric fleet. In an ever-growing industry where unreliable service has long been the norm, HIVED has been built from the ground-up to meet the demands of modern consumers and disrupt parcel delivery.

A tech company at heart, our talent and technology is laser-focused on delivering the best possible delivery experience for end-customers and meeting the needs of our retail partners. From our drivers to our data engineers, we are constantly working to improve this customer experience that makes us deliver better. Already trusted by leading international brands such as John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, H&M brands and more, we are solidifying our position as the leaders in Europe to tackle this growing market.

Our tight-knit team is made up of ex-Revolut, Bain, HelloFresh, ASOS, Apple and Google employees, and we are backed by some of Europe’s leading investors and VCs in climate-tech, logistics and mobility including Planet A Ventures, Maersk Growth, Pale Blue Dot VC, Eka Ventures, NordicNinja VC and the British government. We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.

Our Values

  • We Are Kind - Kind to the planet, our team and our partners. We listen with purpose, leave our egos at the door and aren't afraid to make difficult decisions.
  • We Are Tenacious - We fight every day to keep the customer promise, for every parcel entrusted to us.
  • We Are Curious - We never settle, constantly challenge convention and are never afraid to ask why.
  • We Are Resourceful - Our planet's resources are scarce and our future depends on our ability to use them wisely.

Role Overview

Sitting in the Strategy & Initiatives Office, you will be responsible for solving novel and exciting problems, including new revenue lines, products, or big wholesale changes at HIVED. This role sits closely alongside Operations and also collaborates with the wider business e.g tech Data, Finance, and Commercial teams.

This is a high-leverage role with direct exposure to the Executive team, perfect for a top-tier consultant or high-potential operator looking to swap slide decks for real-world P&L ownership. You will be responsible for incubating and launching new business lines, with full project management and P&L ownership until the project is mature enough to be handed over to the relevant function.

This role is perfect for someone hungry and intelligent that wants to make their mark on a business, excelling at first principles thinking. You’ll collaborate within cross-functional teams to launch truly innovative ideas that are robust, scalable, and deeply integrated into HIVED’s operations. This is an opportunity to combine theoretical rigour with real-world application and see the tangible impact of your work every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the exploration and evaluation of new approaches to solve complex business problems.
  • Partner with product and operational stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into solutions.
  • Communicate roadmaps, progress, and findings clearly to stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Lead discovery and delivery for defined features or improvement areas within the squad’s remit, aligning solutions to operational needs and business goals.
  • Independently develop investment cases and strategic frameworks for multi-million pound initiatives, discovery, and analysis to inform decisions.
  • Ensure data informs solution design by aligning decisions with strategic KPIs, technical metrics, and business impact.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, or opportunities in existing or potential initiatives - communicating them clearly and in the right format with all relevant stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

  • You likely have 2+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy (Bain, McKinsey, BCG), high-growth scale-up, or investment bank.
  • You are hungry to enact changes over days not months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience ideating and building from scratch using data-led insights.
  • You can break down complex, ambiguous problems into logical workstreams without a playbook.
  • Proven ability to translate complex requirements into solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership – you enjoy solving open-ended problems and building solutions that matter.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - you will have strong exposure to executive teams and on the ground operators, giving confidence in outputs and updates.

How we reward our team

  • Dynamic hybrid working environment with a diverse and driven team.
  • Huge opportunity for learning in a high growth environment, with progression opportunities based on success in the role.
  • 25 days of holiday allowance plus public holidays.
