About HIVED
At HIVED, we’re steamrolling forward as one of Europe’s fastest growing startups, and our momentum shows no signs of slowing. Based in London, we are a climate and logistics start‑up building the first sustainable parcel delivery network at scale, powered by a 100% electric fleet. In an ever‑growing industry where unreliable service has long been the norm, HIVED has been built from the ground‑up to meet the demands of modern consumers and disrupt parcel delivery. A tech company at heart, our talent and technology is laser‑focused on delivering the best possible delivery experience for end‑customers and meeting the needs of our retail partners. From our drivers to our data engineers, we are constantly working to improve this customer experience that makes us deliver better.
Already trusted by leading international brands such as John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, H&M brands and more, we are solidifying our position as the leaders in Europe to tackle this growing market. Our tight‑knit team is made up of ex‑Revolut, Bain, HelloFresh, ASOS, Apple and Google employees, and we are backed by some of Europe’s leading investors and VCs in climate‑tech, logistics and mobility including Planet A Ventures, Maersk Growth, Pale Blue Dot VC, Eka Ventures, NordicNinja VC and the British government. We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.
Role Overview
HIVED is building the UK’s first 100% electric parcel delivery network, and we’re looking for the next generation of leaders to grow with us. As part of our Graduate Operations Executive Programme from day one you will own real problems, drive real decisions, and sit at the heart of a business that is fundamentally changing how logistics works. If you have ever looked at the delivery industry and thought this should be better, you are already thinking like a HIVED grad. This programme is designed as a springboard into both operations and the wider business. Previous grads have moved into roles across Marketing, Product, Capacity, Central Operations and Founders’ Office after building a deep grounding in Operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Programme structure (3-4‑month rotations, ~13 months in total):
- 3 weeks onboarding and shadowing: Hit the ground running with a structured introduction to HIVED. You’ll get under the bonnet of the business through sessions with teams across Sales, Finance, Engineering and more, so you understand how every part fits together. You’ll also undertake a "ride‑along" with one of our drivers to see our delivery operation in action, as well as shadowing each of our operational teams. To round things off, you’ll spend dedicated time with our AI and Automation Squad, getting hands‑on with the low‑code and AI tools we use day‑to‑day, so you’re set up to make a real impact from day one.
- Rotation through the following in no particular order:
- 4 months in Ops Run: E.g., running the day‑to‑day operation in depots, supporting shift leads, tracking live performance, solving operational fires and customer support.
- 4 months in Central Ops: E.g., process design, SOP creation, data analysis and continuous improvement projects.
- 4 months in Network / SIO: E.g., modelling capacity, helping plan route and depot network changes, supporting scaling initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- You’re graduating in 2026 (or graduated in 2024/25 and are ready for your next move).
- You thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and don’t wait to be told what to do.
- You’re a natural problem solver, you see a broken process and immediately want to fix it.
- You’re comfortable experimenting with tools like AI assistants, Zapier, Airtable, Make or similar to automate repetitive work and make teams more effective.
- You’re motivated by a mission and the opportunity to disrupt an industry.
- You’re collaborative to your core, but not afraid to push back when you see a better way.
- You have a track record of going above and beyond in work, study or life e.g. building something from scratch, leading teams, balancing demanding commitments or driving change in an organisation.
- You have real‑world work experience (internships, part‑time work, societies, your own projects) where you’ve taken responsibility and delivered outcomes.
- You have strong analytical capability and are comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets and data‑backed decision making.
What you will gain
- Our programme is deliberately accelerated. Within 13 months you will have:
- End‑to‑end visibility of how a high‑growth logistics startup operates.
- A chance to shape and define how 21st century logistics operates.
- Direct mentorship from HIVED's senior leadership team.
- Exposure to senior decision‑making. You’ll regularly be in the room for key Ops and cross‑functional discussions, building context and confidence to influence decisions early in your career.
- A portfolio of real projects. By the end of the programme you’ll be able to point to specific launches, process changes or performance improvements that you owned and delivered.
- You’ll build strong relationships across Ops, Product, Commercial and the Exec team, giving you options for where to land after the scheme and a support network that will follow you through your career.
- A fast‑track path to a permanent role at HIVED either in operations or the broader business, with a defined progression framework.
Support and development
- A dedicated mentor outside your day‑to‑day team who will support your development, run regular check‑ins and help you explore long‑term paths at HIVED.
- A buddy from our previous graduate cohort to provide peer support and a realistic view of life at HIVED.
- A clear progression framework and a fast‑track path to a permanent role for high performers at the end of the 13 months.
How we reward our team
- Dynamic hybrid working environment with a diverse and driven team.
- Huge opportunity for learning in a high growth environment, with progression opportunities based on success in the role.
- 25 days of holiday allowance + public holidays + 1 Birthday Day Off.
- Bi‑annual performance reviews and tailored development plans.
- Team lunch provided once a week.
- Quarterly team socials and annual sports day (HIVED Olympics).
- Community volunteer days.
- Dog friendly office and depots.
- MacBook Air or Windows Laptop (depending on your preference).
