At Hive, we're building the defining physical AI platform of the next decade. Industrial labor is one of the most acute bottlenecks in the global economy. Operators are expensive, hard to retain, and working in environments that are increasingly unsafe. The shortage is structural. The window to solve it is now. Our answer is a machine‑agnostic intelligence platform that lets any machine, on any site, perceive, decide, and act autonomously. One platform. Any machine. No fleet replacement.

Already live across multiple sites and customers in Europe - spanning logistics and warehousing, industrial manufacturing, and large-scale chemical production - with a US expansion underway. The vision: one operator managing hundreds of machines simultaneously. Productive machine‑hour cost dropping by 80x, and unlocks the next productivity revolution in physical work. The mission is to make productivity limitless. Come and help us build it.

The Role

Validated deployments are live across Norway. Customer demand is growing. The UK is our next major operational market, with proof‑of‑concepts, validation projects and commercial deployments already underway. As Hive expands internationally, successful deployments become about far more than technology. They require operational excellence, strong customer execution, well‑prepared sites and teams that can deliver safely and consistently in the field. This role exists to build that capability.

You will own the operational delivery of Hive's first UK proof‑of‑concepts, validation projects and customer deployments. That means working closely with customers, operators and engineering teams to ensure every deployment is safe, efficient and delivers an outstanding customer experience. This is not a project management role from behind a desk. It is hands‑on and execution‑focused, combining time on customer sites with building the operational structure behind successful deployments.

As Hive grows in the UK, you will have the opportunity to take on broader operational responsibility, helping establish local ways of working, supporting operator recruitment and training, improving operational processes, and contributing to a scalable service organisation. You will be based in the UK, working across customer sites nationwide while collaborating closely with Hive's engineering and delivery teams in Norway and UK.

If you want to help define how autonomous industrial operations are deployed and operated in one of Europe's fastest‑growing Physical AI companies, this is the role.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver Deployments: Lead the operational execution of Hive's first UK proof‑of‑concepts, validation projects and customer deployments. Coordinate site readiness, commissioning, validation and go‑live activities together with customers, engineering and delivery teams, ensuring every deployment is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high operational standard.
  • Operational Delivery: Take ownership of day‑to‑day operational execution once deployments are live. Coordinate operators, shift planning, first‑line operational support and operational performance across customer sites while continuously improving safety, uptime and service quality.
  • Operational Readiness: Ensure customer sites are operationally prepared before deployment. Coordinate operator training, HSE requirements, operating procedures, documentation and customer readiness activities to enable successful go‑lives.
  • Customer Operations: Build strong relationships with customer teams and become a trusted operational partner. Resolve operational issues quickly, manage expectations and continuously improve the customer experience as deployments mature.
  • Build Operational Capability: Help establish Hive's operational footprint in the UK. Develop practical processes, documentation and ways of working that enable the organisation to scale efficiently as new customers are added. Support recruitment, onboarding and development of operators and other operational roles as the business grows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture operational feedback from customers and operators and work closely with Engineering, Product and Delivery to improve Hive's platform, deployment methodology and operational processes.
