Hive Mind Speaks is a civic arts organisation using art, public deliberation and national referendums to explore social issues. We’re looking for an Events Lead to organise talks, exhibitions, workshops, launch events and fundraising events that grow our reach and support our mission.

What will you be doing?

  • Helping plan and coordinate public‑facing events including talks, workshops, screenings, exhibitions, fundraising events and networking gatherings.
  • Supporting logistics including venues, schedules, suppliers, invitations, equipment and event planning documents.
  • Helping shape creative and engaging ways to showcase Hive Mind Speaks’ work to new audiences and supporters.
  • Coordinating communications with venues, collaborators, institutions and external partners.
  • Supporting event delivery on the day to ensure smooth running and positive audience experience.
  • Where relevant, contributing ideas or logistical support toward our large‑scale public art interventions and installations.

Training & Guidance

  • You’ll work closely with our founder, operations team, communications team and project collaborators.
  • Support and onboarding will be provided, with opportunities to take real ownership over areas of event planning and development.
