We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our growing team at Hitchin Priory Hotel, Tilehouse street, Hitchin, SG5 2DL. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food for a large range of events and meal times. We recently reopened our property as a full service hotel and we are growing very rapidly. If you have a passion for fresh food, are flexible in shift pattern, and enjoy working in a team-oriented atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented according to SOPs
- Set up stations with all necessary supplies and ensure stock rotation
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
Skills:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
