An established UK & Ireland business operating within the specialist distribution and trade sector is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its finance leadership team. The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting process while helping drive continuous improvement across finance operations and controls. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of consolidated monthly and year-end financial reporting
  • Managing and developing a small finance team to support high performance
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting standards
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and senior internal stakeholders
  • Providing technical accounting expertise and supporting business change initiatives

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with hybrid working arrangements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in group financial reporting within a complex organisation
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and consolidations
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
