We’re supporting a market-leading, UK-wide engineering and service-led business to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across a key service division. This is a well-established, fast-growing organisation operating across multiple locations, delivering end-to-end solutions to major customers in the hospitality and foodservice sector. The Opportunity
This role offers a blend of financial control and true business partnering, supporting multiple service-based entities within the group. You’ll work closely with operational leadership, providing insight, challenge and commercial guidance to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management accounting and reporting function across multiple business units
- Oversee month-end, year-end and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Support and coordinate the external audit process
- Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews
- Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight and challenge
- Support budgeting and forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities
- Provide financial input on pricing, investment decisions and new initiatives
- Drive process improvements and financial best practice across the division
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
- Proven experience in a business partnering / commercially focused role
- Ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and add value operationally
- Advanced analytical and MI reporting capability
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting team development
