They are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their finance team in East Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity for someone with finance or purchase ledger experience to step into a varied and collaborative role within a supportive and progressive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Accurately processing and paying supplier invoices in SAP
  • Managing and scanning incoming invoices using an integrated scanning system
  • Handling and resolving invoice queries and discrepancies efficiently
  • Preparing and processing weekly/monthly supplier payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements regularly
  • Supporting month-end reporting and assisting with process improvements
  • Collaborating with UK and overseas teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks and providing cover for team absences

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a finance or purchase ledger role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, and integrated scanning systems is desirable but not essential
  • Exposure to dealing with overseas suppliers is a bonus
