HW Finance are pleased to be working with a successful manufacturing business in Yorkshire, to recruit a new Finance Manager in a hands-on and varied position.
About the role:
You will be a valued senior member of the Finance team in the UK. You will oversee month end reporting and group reporting, and will business partner with stakeholders across the business. You will also manage a small team. You will be involved in a new system implementation, developing reporting and creating efficiencies for the wider team and business. This is an excellent position for an experienced Finance Manager in a fast-paced and challenging business, to take ownership of the team and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the month end reporting process, providing accurate and timely accounts through Balance Sheet reconciliation review
- Managing reporting to group, involved in ongoing improvements to current reporting process
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering reporting packs with detailed variance analysis and commentary
- Support financial reporting team, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Management of a small finance team, mentoring and developing each team member
- Involved in system implementation and ongoing process and system improvements
- Ad hoc support to the wider finance and operations teams
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Hands-on management accounting experience
- Used to working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to manage upwards, and business partner stakeholders across the business
- System implementation experience (Desirable)
- Manufacturing experience (Desirable)
- Process improvement mindset
