HW Finance are proud to be partnering with a global organisation to appoint a Finance Director to lead EMEA Finance Operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a senior leadership role with significant scope to shape finance strategy, strengthen governance, and drive operational excellence across the region. Reporting directly to the Global CFO, you’ll take ownership of all EMEA finance operations, leading a sizeable team and overseeing core functions including financial reporting, management accounting, AP/AR, and credit management. You’ll play a key role in transforming processes, enhancing controls, and ensuring best-in-class financial governance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team
- Oversee month-end processes, statutory reporting, and audit relationships
- Drive SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business
- Manage outsourced providers and optimise delivery models
- Lead finance transformation and process standardisation initiatives
- Improve working capital performance and financial risk management
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ideally Big 4 background)
- Strong leadership experience within complex, international environments
- Deep understanding of European accounting, tax, and reporting frameworks
- Proven experience in driving change, transformation, and process improvement
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and managing external partners
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on results and continuous improvement
