Overview
Are you a hands-on Finance Manager/ Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? This SME business in Leeds City Centre is seeking someone to join their team on a 3-6 month basis, with potential to extended longer term dependent on business performance.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end management accounts, drive process improvements, and deliver accurate data reporting.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to support with ad hoc transactional duties when needed, while also playing a key role within this small finance team.

Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of management accounts, including hands-on involvement throughout the process
- Set up and preparation of board packs
- Completion of standard month-end close activities
- Revenue recognition and associated postings
- Management of accruals and prepayments
- Utilisation of detailed process notes to ensure compliance and consistency
- Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
