HWF are delighted to be exclusively appointed on this Head of Group Reporting role working for a leading FTSE 250 Group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead group reporting across a highly successful UK-listed Group in the building and construction products sector. The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and have high visibility across the organisation, working closely with senior leadership. With excellent opportunities for progression, this is an ideal next step for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to move into a broader leadership role within a growing PLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Group’s financial and management reporting processes
  • Oversee statutory accounts, group consolidations and technical compliance
  • Manage external audit process and group controls
  • Lead and develop the Group Reporting team
  • Deliver internal reporting packs and dashboards
  • Drive development of the Group’s consolidation system
  • Business partner across Group functions
  • Involvement in systems and ERP transitions and ad hoc strategic projects

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong experience of group consolidation, reporting and controls
  • Experience within listed and/or manufacturing businesses
  • Skilled in consolidation and reporting systems — recent OneStream/ERP experience ideal
  • Able to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Well-organised, detail-focused, technically strong
