HW Finance are delighted to be working with a fast-growing, values-led organisation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. This is a key strategic appointment, offering the opportunity to help drive ambitious growth plans - including scaling turnover significantly and doubling EBITDA by 2029.
The Role
As Divisional Finance Director, you will take full ownership of finance across the division, leading a team of 8 across multiple locations and ensuring robust financial governance, reporting, and performance management. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the leadership team to shape divisional strategy and growth
- Leading monthly reporting, management accounts, and group reporting packs
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Managing cashflow, working capital improvement, and financial controls
- Leading year-end audit processes and statutory compliance
- Ensuring timely HMRC reporting (VAT/PAYE) and regulatory filings
- Supporting payroll oversight alongside the People function
- Driving finance process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Providing strong leadership, development, and succession planning for the finance team
About You
We’re looking for a commercially focused finance leader who brings:
- Proven experience operating at Finance Director / senior executive level
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen
- Track record in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Experience in multi-division or group environments (desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A hands-on leadership style with strong governance mindset
- Qualified accountant status (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a B2B/B2C service-led or travel-aligned business would be beneficial, though not essential.
