HW Finance are exclusively working with a Grimsby based supply chain management business who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to take ownership of financial management for their transport operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to work closely with senior stakeholders, report directly into the UK Finance Director, provide strategic insight, and drive financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Reporting – Manage transport financials and ensure accurate reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead financial planning, providing key insights.
- Business Partnering – Support transport management with financial data, trends, and performance analysis.
- KPI & Performance Tracking – Deliver KPI reporting and challenge operational teams to meet targets.
- Strategic Projects – Provide financial input into key initiatives and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and IT skills with a methodical approach.
- Confidence to challenge and influence decision-making.
- Proactive mindset with a commercial outlook.
