Job Description

A high-growth, dynamic business in Leeds is looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead and develop a large, fast-paced credit control function of 20+ people, during a period of exciting transformation and systems change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a credit control team of 20+ across multiple business units
  • \\n\\t

  • Oversee all credit and collections activity ensuring cash collection targets are achieved
  • \\n\\t

  • Drive process improvements across credit control operations, billing, and collections
  • \\n\\t

  • Business partner with finance and commercial stakeholders to improve debtor performance
  • \\n\\t

  • Manage aged debt reporting, credit risk assessments, and escalation procedures
  • \\n\\t

  • Play a key role in upcoming systems change and transformation projects
  • \\n\\t

  • Support the implementation of new credit control systems or ERP enhancements
  • \\n\\t

  • Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and team performance metrics
  • \\n\\t

  • Ensure full compliance with credit policies, internal controls, and audit standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing a large credit control team (10+ minimum)

  • Demonstrable leadership in fast-paced and change-driven environments

  • Background in process transformation and/or systems implementations
  • \\n\\t

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • \\n\\t

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making

  • ERP systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) advantageous
  • \\n\\t

  • CICM qualification or equivalent experience preferred
