Our Story
Hitchcox Motorcycles was forged at the intersection of Formula One engineering and a deep obsession with classic British motorcycles. That combination is not accidental, it defines everything we make. Our exhausts are handcrafted in our Brackley workshop using the finest high-grade materials, and every single one leaves bearing the mark of someone who genuinely cares about the work.
We’ve built our reputation on one thing: uncompromising quality. That reputation lives or dies in the hands of the people we hire which is why we only bring in fabricators and welders who are truly exceptional at their craft.
This is not a normal workshop. Our tolerances are tighter, our pace is faster, and our standards are higher than anywhere you’ve worked before. The precision we work to is measured in fractions of a millimetre. We are quite literally building the plane whilst flying it - new challenges, new demands, and zero room for mediocrity.

About You
You are a highly skilled TIG welder and fabricator who has spent time in the heat of motorsport manufacturing. You know your way around exotic materials (Titanium, Stainless Steel) and you hold yourself to a standard most workshops wouldn’t even attempt. You work with your hands, by eye, and by feel. You don’t cut corners because cutting corners offends you.
You’ll work directly alongside our Founder Tom and our senior fabricators, who will be hands-on in pushing your craft further.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years TIG welding experience in the Motorsport industry
- Fabrication entirely by hand - we don’t use machines to cover for poor technique
- Ability to work to exceptionally tight tolerances, consistently
- An almost obsessive attention to detail and genuine pride in the finish
- Confidence with a wide range of hand tools and equipment
