Overview

In this role you lead the UK data center sales strategy, building and managing key customer partnerships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers and industry stakeholders.

You drive growth across the UK data center market, coordinating with regional teams and engineering to move opportunities from early engagement through contract close.

The position offers visibility, ownership and impact on Hitachi Energy’s data center and critical power solutions.

You will travel across the UK to engage customers and represent the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with key Data Center customers in the UK
  • Create and execute robust sales plans and stakeholder maps to drive revenue and market penetration
  • Understand customer objectives and procurement processes to identify and convert new opportunities
  • Align Hitachi Energy’s solutions with customer sustainability and expansion goals
  • Lead early engagement and opportunity development with local teams and technical specialists
  • Drive high-value Pursuits and maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in CRM
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting and support budget achievement
  • Represent Hitachi Energy in the UK Data Center industry and support industry events
  • Uphold safety, integrity and customer excellence while traveling as needed
  • Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management or Engineering
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and networks
  • Solid knowledge of the data center market and existing industry contacts
  • Strong technical acumen to support solution development and deal closures
  • Exceptional communication skills with influence across proposals and negotiations
  • Results-driven with high-quality delivery and persistence
