Job Summary:
The VP Global Services EMEA at Hitachi, Ltd. is responsible for leading and strategically expanding Hitachi's services business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring profitable growth, operational excellence, and exceptional client satisfaction within the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for Global Services in EMEA, aligning with Hitachi's global objectives and regional market opportunities.
  • Drive significant revenue growth and profitability for the services organization in EMEA, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of services professionals across various countries and disciplines within the EMEA region.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Hitachi's services offerings, including consulting, implementation, managed services, and support, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the EMEA market.
  • Manage P&L for the EMEA services division, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and implement best practices for service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with other Hitachi business units and global functions to ensure integrated solutions and a unified customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive innovation in service offerings and delivery models to meet evolving customer needs and technological advancements.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in leading and managing large-scale services organizations within the technology sector, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP, SVP, General Manager).
  • Extensive experience operating and leading teams across the EMEA region, with a deep understanding of its diverse markets, cultures, and business practices.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth, managing large P&L statements, and achieving profitability targets in a services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategic plans and translate them into actionable initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building, motivating, and developing high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering value and building long-term partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of various service delivery models, including professional services, managed services, and cloud-based offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the EMEA region as required.
