The Region HQ represents the Hitachi Group in EMEA, leading the unified regional strategy and driving One-Hitachi growth. We also drive Regional Talent Mobility; Branding & Events - positioning Hitachi as a Regional Champion in Digital and Green Transformation; Leading on Government and EU relations and EMEA Risk Assessment.

The RHQ is also responsible for managing and partnering with a Shared Services Group that provides the Company's business units with a range of innovative and effective common services that deliver value, create ‘lean’ processes and support growth and development - including HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, Corporate Communications & Sustainability, and Business Development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The HR Project & Transformation Lead will partner across the HR functions and Business Groups to deliver value-added services to management and employees.
  • Lead and drive projects that enhance networking opportunities and foster HR collaboration across Sectors and Business Units within the Region, including cross-regional collaboration among RHQ HR teams.
  • Assume responsibility as Project Lead and Project Manager in relation to collaboration activities across Groups.
  • Expand engagement with other Groups around internal mobility to attract and retain employees across the Region.
  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to further enhance work relationships and collaboration across Groups in EMEA.
  • Promote the Hitachi Brand in EMEA, to attract and onboard top talent.
  • Provide regional enablement for legislative changes such as the EU Pay Directive.
  • Support education of Managers and employees around new landscape for Diversity.
  • Drive a ‘growth mindset’ culture within the Regional HQ and beyond.
  • Support line managers across the Region in leading and delivering change including restructuring, reorganization, integration, consultation, TUPE, redundancy, job redesign and redeployments.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues as needed.

  • This role can offer a mixture of remote working, either in our Regional HQ, or other Hitachi office locations.
