Hitachi Energy are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Innovation Program Manager to lead cutting-edge projects from ideation through pilot and business transfer. You'll oversee multiple, sometimes interconnected, digital innovation projects from conception to completion.
The ideal candidate will drive innovation initiatives, govern cross-functional teams, and ensure successful implementation of digital solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals.
How you'll make an impact:
- You'll develop detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects within the program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and external partners.
- Lead ideation sessions and workshops to generate innovative digital solutions.
- Communicate program vision, objectives, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Negotiate program expectations and ensure results are achieved.
- Manage external partners and related activities (commercial agreements, NDAs, SoWs, etc).
- Contribute in evaluating and implementing new digital technologies/business models.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive digital innovation.
- Work with the digital team to drive process improvements and standardization across digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with digital and data management policies and standards.
- Oversee the execution of pilot projects to test and validate innovative digital solutions.
- Manage the transition of successful pilots back to the owning business unit for scaling and adoption.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of new technologies across the organization.
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation projects.
- Strong technical background with understanding of emerging IT and OT technologies and digital trends.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
- Excellent ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and digital project management tools.
- PMP or relevant program management certification is a plus.
