Hitachi Vantara helps enterprise customers unlock the value of their data and modernise the infrastructure behind critical business outcomes. We are seeking a new business Account Executive to continue our H1 success in the UK. In this new logo acquisition role you will develop strategic customer relationships, create high-quality pipeline and convert new opportunities into long-term partnerships. Importantly, accounts you open - you keep.
This role suits a commercially driven seller who enjoys building from the ground up: identifying priority accounts, engaging senior stakeholders, shaping compelling business cases and leading complex sales cycles through to close.
What you’ll do
- Identify, qualify and prioritise strategic new business prospects across a defined account set.
- Create and progress pipeline through targeted prospecting, executive engagement, partner collaboration and insight-led customer conversations.
- Build trusted relationships with senior IT, data, infrastructure, procurement and business stakeholders.
- Lead the full sales cycle from qualification through solution development, negotiation and close.
- Position Hitachi Vantara’s Digital Infrastructure portfolio, including storage, hybrid cloud, consumption‑based services and AI‑ready infrastructure, around customer business priorities.
- Orchestrate internal specialist teams and partners to deliver differentiated, business‑outcome‑led solutions.
- Maintain strong forecasting, opportunity management and CRM discipline.
What success looks like
- You build a healthy pipeline of qualified net‑new opportunities.
- You create momentum across multiple stakeholders and link technology investment to measurable business value.
- You execute strong sales fundamentals: account planning, qualification, forecasting, deal strategy and close planning.
- You collaborate effectively across internal teams and partners to deliver a high‑quality customer experience.
What you’ll bring
- Proven success in new business acquisition, including pipeline creation and new logo wins.
- Experience selling complex B2B technology solutions into enterprise or similarly complex buying environments.
- Strong prospecting, account planning, qualification and multi‑threaded stakeholder engagement.
- Consistent quota achievement and ownership of personally originated opportunities.
- Commercial acumen, executive engagement and deal strategy skills across complex sales cycles.
- Ability to lead virtual teams and partners with energy, ownership and resilience.
