How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Serve as the primary contact for technical matters with customers.
  • Ensure complete and multidisciplinary information in engineering development.
  • Lead the development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.
  • Drive the completion of all engineering activities on projects.
  • Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Prepare project documents within budget, scope, and contract.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries.

Your Background:

  • Academic degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar lead role.
  • Experience with HVDC technology is a plus.
  • Power industry experience or similar a must.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take a leading role and deliver quality results.
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing; other languages are an advantage.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the UK.
