How you'll make an impact:
- Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies, aligning with overall company objectives and project timelines.
- Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for project-related materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor and track supplier performance, proactively addressing any issues or deviations to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including potential delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
- Optimize logistics and transportation processes for efficient material flow to project sites.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a project-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chains for large-scale industrial or energy projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and contract negotiation principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding project environment.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
