Job Description:
- Provide timely accurate advice on all employee relations matters and attend employee meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date records of activity on all employee relations matters within own client group including note taking.
- Provide Head of HR and HR Business Partner with reports and dashboards as needed.
- Provide policy advice to client group encouraging self-service approach.
- Support HR Business Partner as required with:
- Pay and reward activities including pay benchmarking and inputting into cyclical activities such as salary review and bonus.
- Talent and succession planning.
- Local employee engagement and retention activities including employee forums and Union Joint Negotiation Committees where these exist.
- Organisation structure design.
- Resource planning.
- Recruitment approvals and queries.
- Project work.
Essential Requirements:
- Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above or equivalent.
- CIPD Level 5 or above or working towards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to organise own work whilst remaining calm under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to represent Hitachi in a professional manner at all times.
- Ability to build effective relationships.
Desirable:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering or other technical environment.
- Experience of Workday HR system.
